This week was just like every other week! We contacted and taught lessons and had our meetings BUT, 2 big things happened. Number 1 we found out cambios and I am leaving San Vicente. I am really really sad because I thought for sure Hermana Dias would leave and I would have at least one more chance but it's not what the Lord wants so I am leaving to Talca Panamericana to open the sector. It's going to be a big challenge to open a sector and start from 0 but It'll be good. Number 2 is that we watched the Dedication of the Temple in Concepcion and it was awesome! The spirit was so strong.
Also this week a random man walked up to us and told us that he wanted to say a prayer. So we said okay and he started to pray with his eyes open staring at us! It was so weird and then after he said "Thank you!" and walked away.. hahaha
Remember Juan Bautista that is reading the BoM every day? Well comes to find out that he is member! What crazy?! Yeah so we were shocked haha!
We have a person we are teaching really awesome named Donald but he wont accept a baptismal date and it is really sad. We had a really frank lesson with him and just said everything he needed to hear and he still won't accept one so we are thinking we might have to give him some time. He is really ready to be baptized but he has his agency,.
The Elders had a baptism of a young kid named Sebastian and it was really good! He was really excited. He is the first member of his family so hopefully he can help his family.
We also have been visiting the members to say goodbye and it has been really really sad. But here I go on to bigger and better things 🤞
Yesterday the Temple Presidents wife talked in the dedication and it was really awesome. She talked about the relying on the Lord and his timing. It really helped me remember that we are here to do the will of the Lord and that we chose to come here and learn and grow, It made me think a lot about the mission and that I chose to come and chose to have this great opportunity to learn and grow.
Have a great week all!
