Rauquen es Bacan

Making Sopaipillas!
Well this week was good! We have been working super hard trying to just keep helping the people recieve their salvation.

We are teaching the daughter of Alejandra that just got baptized and she is AMOR! She is so cute and adorable! She knows so much and is really excited to get baptized!

We had a really awesome FHE with the Ward! It was food from all over the world! We had it from our Haitian friends and from the people from Venezuela and from Ecuador and of course Chile! It was really fun! We made no bake cookies and it was a hit! everyone loved them!

We also had a great lesson with the Haitians that we are teaching! They didn't really understand the Priesthood and so we had to explain really well and finally they understood and they said they are going to pray and ask God if they should be baptized. It was an amazing lesson. We went with a member and he helped us a lot too! GREAT

Today we went to a members house and we made Sopaipillas! They were super yummy!

That's about it! It was a good week and the

time is just flying by!

Have a good week!

Un Bautismo, una Fe y Señor

Aquino and me!
Well this week went by fast! I cant believe its Monday again!

This week we had intercambios with our Hermana leader and it was good. We always can learn something new from other missionaries.

We also had our Zone conference which was good. We talked about the importance of our studies and that we need to use them to be more prepared for the day and be able to use our time wisely. It was good! I also go to see Hermana Aquino! My bestest friend in the Mission!!!!!!!! She also gave her last testimony and I cried because she is going home in 2 weeks....I'll miss her a lot but it's okay. I love that we can create such great friendships on the mission.
Alejandras Baptism, it was so spiritual!

Alejandra was Baptized! WOOHOO She is amazing and she was so ready to make this promise with God. It was super special and spiritual.

There is a recent convert here named Manuel and he wanted to learn about D&C so Hermana Kline said "let's read D&C 76 about the Kingdoms of Glory with him" I said "okay!" Well we got done teaching and he was like "wow hermanas eso fue muy profundo para mi...." (that was way too deep(?) for me) well whoops, we won't do that again! Haha!
Alejandra is awesome!

A family here is adopting a little girl so we had a welcome shower for the mom! It was really fun!

That's about all, have a great week!

Until After the Trail of our Faith

Me and Hermana Kline, she is from Colorado.
This week was pretty good. Things here are still pretty HOT but it just makes us "shine" even more. haha

This week we had a lot of trials of our faith. It is really really hot and it just so happened that all of our lessons kept falling through. So we contacted. We were in the sun for like 7 hours every day but we just kept working! Then at the end of the week we found 4 haitians that speak perfect spanish and english and they literally were so interested. They said they had been waiting for something like this in their lives. They went to church on Sunday and said that it was the most beautiful thing they had ever experienced and that they want to go every
week to feel the same way. Wow it was a miracle.

Also Alejandra is going to get baptized on Saturday! Woohoo! She passed her interview and is so so excited!

We taught a man named Germán, he is really cool and he has some desires to learn more and he also has a baptismal date. He lives alone and is a school teacher. We are excited to keep helping him reach his goal of being baptized.
Fire in the field next to our apartment
It was pretty close.
Okay, so last night (Sunday night) at about 1 in the morning, I woke up and there was a lot of light
shining through the window so I opened the curtain and there was a FIRE! We live in an apartment building and behind it there is a big field with a lot of dead grass and it was all on fire. So I was super shocked and then I said "hermana Kline, there is fire!" and we watched as the firefighters tried to put it out and it was just growing bigger and bigger so we decided to pray and put some clothes in a backpack  if we needed to leave. After about 30 minutes the fire started to go out and we went back to bed but it was super scary. When we woke up it was all burnt but we were blessed that the fire didn't get to our apartment building. I know that God was watching over us.

Have a great week!

A Sad Goodbye for Another Loving Hello

Well this week was sad...We had Special Changes so I had to say goodbye to Cachapoal and Hello to Rauquen. So I am with a new companion and I am not a sister training leader anymore. There is a sister that wants to go home and needs an american companion so I am here to finish training her and be with her to help her so I am excited! It'll be good and maybe it was just what we both needed. She is really great and I am excited to help her and get to know her more.

Family Night with Hermana Molly
It was really hard for me to say goodbye to Hermana Garcia and the people we were teaching and the members that I had gotten to know but I know that the members are all really awesome wherever we go because the Gospel makes us live differently than the world.

But anyways, this week went I was still in Cachapoal we taught Pablo and had a Noche de Hogar with hermana Molly and some other members! It was super fun and Pablo said that he is so grateful for us teaching him about the love God has for him.

Okay this week we had lunch with a sister and she gave us SO much food and I was literally dying and couldn't eat more and Hermana Garcia couldn't either,  the sister left the room and hermana Garcia said "hermana Jepsen, we need to find a bag!" I was dying of laughter and then the Sister came back and said that she was going to take a shower so Hermana Garcia said it was our opportunity and so we went searching for a bag and we literally put our lunch in a plastic bag and put it in hermana Garcias backpack! I have never done anything so terrible but I could not eat any more! Haha it was so so funny!

Rocks painted like cute Ladybugs
Then Hermana Kline my new companion came to pick me up and we went to Curico and it has been good. I have only been here for 2 days but I know that it will be good and the people here are amazing.

Next week I think I'll have more details, but for now I hope you all have a good week.
