Week of Miracles

Last week was a trial of our faith but this week we kept working hard and giving it our all and we had an amazing week!
Tuesday- We went to a little population outside of Chepica named Las Arañas and we contacted and had 3 new investigators! and after we went back to Chepica and had 1 new investigator! Woohoo
Wednesday- We met with an old investigator and he told us that is dad had just recently died and his brother also and he wanted to learn more about what happens after death. So we taught the Plan of Salvation and it was super awesome! He also said he wants to be baptized!
Thursday- We talked to a girl named Barbara and she at first said she doesn't really believe in God so we talked with her for a little while and then she said that she believes the things we were teaching her and then in the end she PRAYED WOW. It was awesome and I might have had tears in my eyes.
Saturday- The Elders had a baptism! Woohoo!
Sunday- We had 4 people come to church with us! And then we had a lesson with a cute little Haitian family. They have lived here for 1 year.
And that sums up our miracles but it was an awesome week!
Hopefully with our faith and diligence this week will be just as awesome!
Have a great week!!

And Then There Were 2

This week was good! We did not have a lot of lessons but it was still good.

On Thursday Hermana Guerrero wanted to go to some members houses to say goodbye so we went to almost every member...which is like 4 haha.
Last Day with Hermana Guerrero.

On Friday Hermana Guerrero left in the morning to go to the temple and do all of the other stuff in Rancagua before she is leaving to go home. It was super weird at first to only have one companion but now it feels normal again.
We also rode our bikes to a population called Las Arañas to contact some references that we got and wow, after not riding a bike for 6 weeks youd think i forgot how haha. It was rough!

Im staying in Chepica with hermana Aquino! Woohoo! Hermana Aquino is super awesome.
Staying in Chepica with Hermana Aquino.

On Sunday i had to talk in church again..I feel like I'm always at the pulpit giving talks haha but its fine. It's a growing experience!

AND last but not least....I skyped with my family! Woohoo! It was a party. Also if you didn't know, Brian is coming to Chile!! We probably won't see each other but at least we will be here together for 7 months! Crazy! I can't believe that i have already had my second skype. Time goes by fast when your having fun!
My view of Skyping with the Fam!!

Have a great week!

What a Week!

Me with Broccoli like a bouquet of flowers on Jennas Wedding day
This week was....LONG.
We had to dejar (leave) 2 of our investigators this week and one left us. Patricio and Juan are not progressing so we have to stop visiting them and then Margarita is really sick and is now living in Santiago so her daughter can help her. So those were sad days. I hate when we have to stop visiting investigators because it's like we are breaking up with them and it just breaks my heart. But it's part of the mission.
We had intercambios with our Hermana Leaders this week and we went to visit a family who the dad is less active but the mom and son are investigators and we had a really really spiritual lesson with them about how they can be an eternal family and they are the only ones who can choose to be an eternal family.
Our Noche De Hogar

We had a really fun family night on Wednesday and we talked about blessings and that we need to live to our full potential to receive all the blessings our father in Heaven has for us.
Have a great Mothers Day! and a great week!
