Life in Rancagua

Well the life of someone who lives in Rancagua is much different than any other place I have been. It is the city and everyone is "andando apurado" (going fastly) or dont have time to listen but it is also a place where a lot of miracles happen.

This week I got to know one of the miracles that is happening here in Cachapoal, her name is Endimar, She is from Venezuela and is amazing! She is so so ready to have the gospel in her life and change for the better. She is going to get married and then get baptized and we are hoping it all works out soon.

Beautiful Hermanas!
Hermana Collins and I started this together!
A man named Pablo contacted us in the street the other day and said he needed a message of Jesus Christ so we obviously said we were just the people he needed! We taught him and to be honest he "taught" us because he knows a lot and is just super awesome! We are excited to keep teaching him. He was in a car accident a few years ago and he now has some medical problems but he understands everything perfectly. He feels like God has abandoned him and wants to be able to feel closer to him. He is amazing.

There is a Hermana here named Molly who is a member but she is so awesome! We ate lunch with her 3 times this week and she always has the craziest stories to tell. She goes swimming every week and so we talked a lot about swimming and it was awesome haha.

Here in the ward there are a lot of converts and they are amazing! One of them has 9 months as a member and she is the President of the Relief Society! Another has about 11 and is the 2 counselor in the Quorum and the ward mission leader and also does the cleaning of the church building! These converts are pure gold!

Have a great week.

Chau Panamericana y Hola Cachapoal

Hermana Bracho and Me.
This week was only okay...but we all have ups and downs in life and we can chose to get up and brush off the dirt or stay on the ground crying and I'm going to get up and brush off that dirt!

First things first hermana Bracho broke her tooth!! What?! It was crazy! We were eating lunch and she says to me, " i need to tell you a secret." I said "okay" She said " my tooth broke!" and then she started laughing so hard! well yup she broke her tooth and we had to go to the dentist and they are going to have to pull it out! NOOOOOO How sad!!!!! but she says it's okay because she has a lot of pain.
My district.

We had intercambios and they were okay....the hermanas are having kind of a hard time so I had to help them out a little but I know that God called me as a leader because he has confidence in me and so I should obey and do all I can.

One of the Hermanas has LICE! and it was the hermana that slept in my bed for intercambios! So we had to clean everything! and I mean everything! Luckily no one else has gotten it!

Well nothing really excited happened this week just a normal week of work.
Check out those sick tan lines!

I will be going to Cachapoal, Rancagua to be the hermana leader trainer with hermana Garcia which means that we are the hermana leaders of ALL of the hermanas in the WHOLE mission. Crazy! I hope that I can do it and that we can see a lot of miracles. I am sad to be leaving hermana Bracho. I really love her a lot.

Have a good week!

PANTS WHAT?!?!?

Pants!
This week was rey fome (really lame) because my sweet loving adorable companion was SICK all week! We stayed in the house for 7 days in a row! Man was I ready to WORK WORK WORK!

But we got a letter from our mission Pres last week saying that if we would like we can use pants, so we tried it out! I'm not a big fan. I HATED dresses and skirts before the mission and now i LOVE dresses hahahah! What a change!

Well since we were "locked up" hehe, all week
we decided to buy a puzzle and some paint! So we did a puzzle of 500 pieces and we painted, even though I suck at painting! It was fun!

We worked 2 days this week and we saw a lot of miracles. We were able to teach the son of Ximena Benja which was a miracle! He is amazing and really just needs some other teenagers to help him! We also were able to help a family in the ward that is going through a really hard time. We were able to listen and be company for them and it was nice.
We finished it!

Well I still love the mission and I am sorry I don't have a lot to say but we are going to work like machines this last week of the Change and we are going to go Kill em! Woohoo!
Have a great week!

Just 2 Sickos

Me and Hermana Trapnell
So this week was good. We had to do a lot of things this week with the visa of hermana Bracho so we waited in lines for a long long time! It was boring.

We also had interviews this week with President Harris and he always makes me feel like I can take over the world after talking to him and then we get to our area and its like "well maybe not......" haha

Eating Pizza with Hermana Romina.
We visited Ximena this week and she is like my Chilean mom. I just love her so much! She always telling us that we need to wear sunscreen and hats and be safe haha. Its nice to have a mom here when my real mom is so far away haha.

Hermana Romina took us to eat pizza this week! It was so awesome haha. She is so cute :)

The owners of our apartment came to check on us haha. They want to make some changes to the house and they also gave us Once which is like dinner. They aren't members but are really awesome and they are a really cute family. We hope we can keep teaching them.

We had intercambios with Hermana Trapnell. She is super cute and it was a really good day.

On sunday we got SOOOO sick. We were both dying...we just slept basically all day and then we also slept a lot today. Its terrible when both of us are sick and there is only one bathroom....lol. Love the mish.

Have a great week!

Feliz Año Nuevo

Well, I hope you all had a great Christmas and that you'll all have a happy new year.
Do you like our helmets with sun hats?

It was great to be able to talk with my family and close friends that I love so dearly. I hope everyone spent time with the ones they love and were able to feel the Christmas Spirit that Christ gives us.

This week was good but kind of hard because everyone is partying but we weren't going to let that stop us from finding the "chosen people" that are ready and waiting for the gospel. We saw some miracles and were able to show our faith a lot this week.

One day we went to Rancagua for the visa of hermana Bracho and while we were there we were able to share a little about our experiences of talking to our families with the other Missionaries and that was fun.

We were able to do a service project this week and clean a park and it was great to be able to do something for the community during the Christmas time. We helped a member and she was very grateful.

We have been teaching 2 young girls Alexandra and Antonella. They are so adorable and they just have so much faith and love for Jesus Christ and they came to church with us and loved it! We are excited to keep working with them and teaching them and their family about the gospel.

I hope you all have a great week!
